About Course
This microlearning course introduces the fundamentals of directional drilling, the practice of intentionally steering a wellbore away from vertical to reach a specific subsurface target. Learners will explore why directional drilling is used, key terms describing wellbore trajectory, the tools used to steer a well, and the basic well path types. Designed for beginners, the course takes approximately 10-13 minutes to complete.
