About Course
Oil & Gas Industry Basics: From Reservoir to Customer provides a beginner-friendly introduction to how the oil and gas industry works from end to end.
The course follows the journey of hydrocarbons from their formation and accumulation underground through drilling, well completion and production. Learners are then introduced to midstream transportation and storage, downstream refining and processing, and the final products delivered to customers.
The course builds a simple mental map of the industry and explains how upstream, midstream and downstream activities connect as one complete value chain.
