About Course
Management of Change: Controlling Changes Before They Create Risk introduces the fundamental principles used to identify, assess, approve, communicate and control changes before they introduce new operational, safety or business risks.
The course explains what Management of Change (MOC) is, why seemingly small modifications can have unexpected consequences, which types of changes should trigger an MOC review, and how technical, procedural, organizational and temporary changes should be managed.
Learners will understand the basic MOC lifecycle, including change identification, risk assessment, approval, implementation, communication, documentation, training and close-out. The course also highlights the importance of verifying that all required actions are completed before a change becomes part of normal operations.
